Falls and Fall Part II

Falls and Fall Part II

Here's another one from my hometown - Ware, MA. This man-made falls does not have a name (that I am aware of). The pond is known as "Snow's Pond" and it flows into Muddy Brook pictured in the lower/lower left portion of this image.

I'm not 100% thrilled with this image. The orange hues in the sky became wayyyy more vibrant about ten minutes after I called it a night. So much for persistence. I can be about as persistent as John Candy at a vegetable eating contest when it comes to photography. *Shrug

Happy Tuesday everyone and thank you very much again for commenting, favoriting, and discussing my work! :)

Kings River Pond: Beneath the surface

Kings River Pond: Beneath the surface

A very quiet part of the Kings River. Polarized a bit to show the stones below the water's surface.

Note the racoon tracks near the bottom fo the frame.

Not shown was the diamond back I almost touched. Fortunately, it was cool and Mr. Rattler was not too active.

I, on the other hand, was very active immediately upon encountering the snake.
